This center offers a wide range of resources to enhance their skills and enables them to connect with fellow industry members for networking opportunities. It puts resources in one central location that professionals in front of and behind the camera, including directors, producers, cinematographers/videographers, musicians, makeup artists, and actors can use daily.
The center provides a platform for filmmakers to create profiles, search for funding sources, explore upcoming film festivals/competitions, and announce crew positions and auditions. Additionally, filmmakers can access information on equipment, film schools, location scouters, unions, and more. Actors also benefit from the center by creating profiles and searching for auditions, acting schools, and workshops.
Whether you’re working on a PSA/Commercial, documentary, or dramatic movie, there are resources on this site to assist you in every step of the filmmaking process, from concept to completion and distribution.
Accessing information on the Filmmakers Resource Center is free. However, a free subscription is required to create profiles and post crew positions and auditions. Furthermore, the center offers a free Events Calendar where users can view film-related events and subscribers can post events.
